The trick of time ⏲

Do we really have all the time in the world? What would you ask for if a genie appeared to you right this moment ? Have you thought about it?

I think I would ask for more time.

I want more time with my loved ones, I want to imprint on someone’s son, I want to remember how it felt like to be high on life, I want more time to make smarter decisions, I want time to write, read and think of ways to be better. I want more time in my today because it’s a gift and no one knows what tomorrow brings.

Does this mean the time we have isn’t enough, or does this mean we are not intentional about our time ?

The thing is we think we need more time but sadly time can’t be borrowed. So in as much as there should be time for everything, we need to be intentional about the time that we spend in our life’s.

It’s easier said than done ba,? But then it could work. Think about it….

All the things that you want to push to tomorrow or next month, you could have time for it today if you were intentional about it.

Time is a sneaky individual like Swiper in Dora, it keeps swiping and you mustn’t be caught unaware.

Just do it, put your mind to it and seize your day. Play the old love, finish the song, do the video, take the nap, pick the kids, write the contract proposal, say your mind, and make the 24 hours yours.

Make the plans and run with it, you know you can, so what’s stopping you ? Don’t push it and do it today, just because today is a gift and tomorrow isn’t promised.

Remember the Solomon Grundy born on Monday, christened on Tuesday poem, I think he lived a dull life, albeit full. What of if he wanted to be married on Tuesday instead of Wednesday, and he didn’t want to be ill at all, no one will ever know, don’t be a Solomon Grundy.
